The 33rd Annual Malcolm X Legacy Celebration & Festival: A Resounding Success
The 33rd Annual Malcolm X Legacy Celebration & Festival held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, in Leimert Park Black Arts Village was a monumental success that brought together community members of all ages to honor the centennial birthday of Minister Malcolm X.
Malcolm X Corridor Dedication
The day began with a powerful press conference under this year's theme, "Human Rights By Any Means Necessary." Distinguished guests including Councilwoman Heather Hutt, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, and numerous community luminaries gathered at the historic intersections of Obama & Crenshaw Blvd and Florence & Crenshaw to witness the official dedication of the MALCOLM X CORRIDOR.
