Incarcerated Men Donate to Support Fire Victims: A Testament to Redemption & Black History Event this weekend
In an extraordinary act of compassion, over 30 incarcerated men from Lancaster State Prison's Inside FUEL group have donated $479 to FA-MLI, Inc. to aid families affected by the recent Los Angeles fires.
Despite earning less than $5 a day, these men came together to give back to communities in need. This sacrifice, spearheaded by FUEL coordinator Geri Silva, represents thousands in the outside world but holds immeasurable value in its message of transformation and responsibility.
"This donation is a testimony to resilience, healing, and the power of community," said Torrence Brannon Reese, MSW, FA-MLI's Founder & CEO. The funds will directly support FA-MLI's relief efforts for fire-impacted families.
This profound act reminds us that the most meaningful contributions often come from those with the least to give, but the most to share. To support FA-MLI's work, visit www.famlisoul.org.
