Today is Giving Tuesday, when people around the world come together to support causes they believe in. At FA-MLI (Foundation for Arts, Mentoring, Leadership, and Innovation), we're on a mission to transform young lives in South Los Angeles through the power of arts and mentoring.

This amount will help us reach more youth who need our programs. Your support creates real change in our community.

Here's What Your Gift Can Do:

• Support our "See a Man, Be a Man" and "Princess 2 Queen" programs that help young people build confidence and life skills

• Fund our yearly DA ROOT Confrence and Curriculum, teaching nine key life skills from education to personal responsibility

• Keep our Legendary Nights monthly events running at the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center, where youth connect with professional artists, perform on stage, and experience the power of live music

• Continue our "Music Saved My Life" documentary project, sharing stories that inspire change

• Maintain our community outreach programs that support both youth and their families

Recent Success:

• Our founder and CEO, Torrence Brannon-Reese, was selected as a 2024-25 Community Fellow for the UCLA-Charles Drew University DANA Center for Neuroscience and Society to develop innovative youth programs exploring music's impact on the brain

• Successfully completed the "DA Soul of America" New Orleans tour, documenting powerful stories of resilience including the "Miracle in Jackson Square" experience, which will be featured in our upcoming documentary

• Expanded our "See a Man, Be A Man" youth mentorship program, offering our comprehensive 9-point curriculum to more South LA students

• Maintained vibrant monthly Legendary Nights events at the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center, creating opportunities for youth to perform alongside professional artists
