Black History Month - Dreaming and Becoming: A Transformative Community Gathering

Sunday, February 23rd, the Inglewood Center for Spiritual Living

On Sunday, February 23rd, the Inglewood Center for Spiritual Living will host a special event aimed at empowering our community through ancient wisdom. "Dreaming and Becoming: Ancient Wisdom for these Times" is a multi-faceted celebration that includes a Sunday service, workshops, lectures, and interactive activities focused on strengthening relationships and healing the critical mother-son bond, especially for Black men.

The event features two renowned leaders in our community. Queen Reverend Mutima Imani will serve as the guest minister, bringing her powerful message of unity and spiritual growth. Alongside her, speaker Baba Orland Bishop will share his insights on tapping into ancestral knowledge to uplift our present and future generations.

"Dreaming and Becoming" is more than just a one-day event - it's a catalyst for positive change and a call to action for our village to come together in support of one another. Through workshops and discussions, attendees will gain practical tools and inspiration to nurture the relationships that form the foundation of our community's strength.

The day will begin with an 11am Sunday service. Expect engaging lectures, interactive exercises, and opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals who are committed to personal and collective growth.

This event is free and open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend. Whether you're seeking to deepen your spiritual practice, strengthen your family bonds, or contribute to the healing of our community, "Dreaming and Becoming" offers a space for all of us to learn, grow, and support one another.
